The things people ask before they start
Everything you might be weighing up before you enquire. Straight answers, no sales spin.
How is this different from a generic fitness app?
A fitness app hands you a template and leaves you to it. This is one-to-one coaching. Your training and nutrition are built around your body, your history and the equipment you've got, and I personally review your progress every week and adjust it. The app is just where it all lives. The coaching is a real person, not an algorithm.
Do I need a gym, or can I train at home?
Ideally, yes. A gym membership gives you the most room to keep progressing. I can absolutely plan effective home workouts, but with limited equipment you'll eventually hit a ceiling on progressive overload, and that's what drives results over the long term. If you're training at home, I'm happy to jump on a call, see exactly what you've got to work with, and we'll go from there.
Is it right for me if I'm a beginner or haven't trained in years?
Yes. Plenty of clients start exactly there. Every plan begins from where you are now, with form videos for every exercise so you're never guessing, and the difficulty builds at a pace that suits you.
How much time does it actually take each week?
Most clients train three to four sessions a week, and each session is built to fit the time you've got. Logging takes a couple of minutes in the app. The whole point is to fit around your life, not take it over.
How soon will I see results?
Most people notice changes within the first few weeks: energy, strength, the way clothes fit. Bigger transformations take consistent months, and the weekly reviews keep the plan moving so you don't stall.
Do we have live video calls, and if not, how do check-ins work?
No scheduled calls, and that's deliberate. Instead of a fixed weekly slot you have to diary in, you log your training, food and check-in photos. I review everything each week and send written or video feedback with clear actions, and the chat stays open in between for anything that comes up. You get more of my attention this way, on your schedule, not less.
What if I travel a lot or my schedule's all over the place?
We don't pause when you travel. We plan around it. I just ask that you keep me in the loop on trips, holidays, birthdays, weddings, whatever's coming up. The more I know, the more I can help you stay on track and still enjoy those moments without big sacrifices. Plenty of my clients travel constantly. Tell me where you're staying and I'll plan your food around it, so you keep your routine and your habits and still have the meal out while you're away. The whole point is building a lifestyle you can actually live with, one that changes the person you show up as, instead of a crash diet you grit your teeth through and bounce straight back from.
What does it cost, and how do I get started?
It's tailored, both the coaching and the price. I don't fit everyone into the same twelve-week, crash-diet box. Some goals need longer because we're changing habits and behaviour for good. Others need to move quicker if you're up against a real deadline. The right length, approach and price all come out of understanding your goal first, so fill in the enquiry form and we'll have a quick conversation to find the right fit before you commit to anything.
