A coach who finally understood
Jagbir Singh is a husband and father, an active member of his local community, and runs his own construction company in Brisbane. His days are long and physical, often spent on the building site in the Australian heat. He had tried coaches before, but none of them understood what a practising Sikh vegetarian could and couldn’t eat. He even worried that language might be a barrier between him and anyone who could truly help.

Reframing what strong looks like
At the start, Jagbir’s goal was simple: shift some weight, get bigger. His friends told him he didn’t need to diet at all. In Punjabi culture, size can be read as health, even when body composition and health markers say otherwise. Tanvir offered a different target: leaner, stronger and more muscular, with the markers to match. Once Jagbir saw it was possible, he committed completely.
Built around his real world
Tanvir built the plan around Jagbir’s life, not around a textbook. He researched Jagbir’s local Anytime Fitness from photos of the equipment, then wrote a training programme around exactly what was on the floor. He studied the Australian supermarkets, built a Woolworths shop into a high-protein meal plan, and made paneer, one of Jagbir’s favourites, a staple. Every meal was planned so Jagbir could still perform through long, hot days on site, in body and in mind.

Leaner, stronger and more muscular than he had ever been, all on a full vegetarian diet, checking in every single week, even while travelling from Australia to India.
